Swirl Packaging Design
Designing the packaging for Swirl posed a unique challenge in making it both visually appealing and cost-effective. Since production of the lines were going to be Swirl’s biggest expenditure, I decided that only using the lotion line color and black would be the solution.
For the packaging, I changed the “swirl” in the logo to match the colors of the product line. I kept the name black so that it would stand out on the white background. I then went to work on creating the icons and the lotion description.

After all the elements were done, it was just a matter of setting up a template for their products. The colors were adjusted for each line and I wrote up the wording for the back of the packaging. Swirl wanted it to to be short and lighthearted, and after a couple revisions, the packaging was approved.
